August 8th River Walk Park Fish Report

RIVER WALK PARK: The bluegill bite very good on crickets, wax worms, and meal worms. Bass are very slow with a few on plastics, nightcrawlers, and small swim baits early and late in the day.

river walk was slow Friday
river walk was slow Friday night. with only 2 dink LMB on drop/shot robo 4 1/2 bold bluegill in back lake. after fishing we sat and watched the movie at outdoor theater.
Until Friday I had only seen
Until Friday I had only seen River walk from the road.
I had a little time on my hands so I checked it out.
There were a lot of people swimming in the lakes but most of
them were getting ready to watch the Kung Foo Panda on a blow up
Screen in the amphitheater
The lake behind the amphitheater had a lot of top water fish activity around dusk.
I'm not sure if the DFG is actively stocking these lakes.
