Here is a bass from my 6/10/09 lunch hour fishing at River Walk Park. Caught a couple this size and slightly larger. You can see the tip of my thumb for scale.  There are lots of these tiny bass to be caught, but occasionally you will see the big ones. On that note I went back in the evening, where to say the least the action was down, but I did see a guy in the back pond (near the ampitheater) land a bass that had to be better than a five pounder. It looked like he was using a topwater frog and poppin' it accross the water.  I got a couple of small, a little larger than my lunch time bass, but nothing to write home about. The bluegill action had slowed way down last night, they didn't seem to want anything I was serving.
